Romer Cisneros

Romer Cisneros is a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Romer served as a Student Attorney and Trial Division Assistant at the Rhode Island Public Defender from June 2022 to August 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Paralegal at the Law Office of Joseph G. Canepa, PLLC, where case packages were prepared for various immigration processes. Additionally, Romer interned as a District Representative for Congressman Joseph Crowley, assisting with constituent eligibility determinations. Romer holds a Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams University School of Law, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from John Jay College (CUNY).
