Yosmin Badie

Law Graduate, Immigration at The Bronx Defenders

Yosi Badie (she/her/hers) received her law degree from NYU School of Law, where she was a Root Tilden Kern Scholar. During law school, Yosi participated in the Advanced Immigrant Rights Clinic, served as co-chair of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA) and International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), and served on the board of Law Students for Justice in Palestine (LSJP) and National Lawyers Guild (NLG). She spent her summers interning with the Legal Aid Society’s Cop Accountability Project and the Bronx Defender’s Immigration Practice. Prior to law school, Yosi served as the Washington D.C. regional manager of The Petey Greene Program and worked at Elpida Refugee Camp in Northern Greece. Yosi graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics and Economics.
