Aileen Tanafranca

Aileen Tanafranca DNP, RN, CCRN, CPXP, NE-BC currently serves as the Vice President of Nursing Operations at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a position held since April 2016, where previous roles included Assistant Vice President of Nursing Administration & Strategy and Senior Director of Nursing. Aileen also holds the presidency of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Upsilon Chapter since June 2021. Prior experience includes critical care nursing at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and nursing management at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Aileen's educational background includes a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Chamberlain University, a Master's degree in Nursing Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from New York University.
