Carol Bradford Worley

Senior Counsel & Charitable Advisor at The California Community Foundation

Carol Bradford Worley serves in multiple capacities at CCF. She is the chief legal officer for CCF and assists CCF’s departments on charitable gifting, asset liquidation and grantmaking issues.

Before her move to the nonprofit sector in 2001, Worley practiced law in Los Angeles with an emphasis in business litigation. Worley is active in the nonprofit legal community as a member of the Business Law Section of the State Bar, the Non Profit Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and holds officer positions in several Los Angeles estate planning councils. She is a frequent speaker on legal and tax issues surrounding complex charitable gifting and grantmaking as well as on the business of community foundations.

In October 2013, the Los Angeles Business Journal recognized Carol with the award for Outstanding Corporate Counsel, Nonprofit Organizations. In 2014, Broads Circle recognized her as a “Top Woman of Influence in Los Angeles” as a general counsel.

Worley earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.
