Elena Girling

Elena Girling is a Director at Developing Readers and a Literacy Specialist at The Cambridge School. Prior to these roles, Elena worked as an Educational Coach at The Family and Learning Center, a Capital Teaching Resident at KIPP DC, a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative, a Tutor at the Claremont McKenna Center for Civic Engagement, a Maitre D' at Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum, and an Intern at The Heritage Foundation. Elena holds a Master of Education in Special Education and a Certificate in Dyslexia from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Literature from Claremont McKenna College.
