Cátia Moreira de Carvalho

Cátia Moreira de Carvalho, Ph.D, currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at IPDAL and is a columnist for Revista SÁBADO, both starting in 2024. Since December 2022, Cátia has been an International Consultant for P/CVERLT and a Counter Terrorism Expert with the OSCE. As a researcher at the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto since 2015, Cátia has organized various academic events and developed research projects. Cátia is also a RAN expert and a member of the Terrorism and Security Sub-Group for The Campbell Collaboration. From 2016 to 2021, Cátia contributed to the COST action on the integration of ethnic and migrant minorities. Education includes a PhD in Psychology from the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto, with a visiting scholarship at the University of Cambridge's Institute of Criminology.
