Ian Hewlett

Ian Hewlett has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Currently serving as Technical Manager at The Camping and Caravanning Club since June 2011, Ian previously held the position of Fleet Manager at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, where responsibilities included managing timelines and schedules for transport aircraft maintenance. Ian's career began in the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from October 1983 to April 2007, gaining extensive expertise in airframe structures, hydraulics, and various aircraft systems, including transitioning the Lockheed Hercules to the J model. Ian holds an HNC in Aerospace Studies from King Alfreds School, Burnham-on-Sea.
