Michelle Owen

Michelle Owen is a seasoned business manager with extensive experience in marketing and fundraising in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Business Manager for Marketing and Fundraising at Cancer Council NSW since March 2023, Michelle previously held the position of Strategy and Planning Manager for Engagement and Support at Australian Red Cross from January 2013 to March 2023, where responsibilities included strategic planning and program implementation across various fundraising channels. Earlier roles encompassed positions at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, managing marketing strategies, and initial tenure at Cancer Council NSW, where Michelle successfully developed campaigns that garnered significant public support. Michelle possesses a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Wollongong and has participated in numerous professional development programs, including the Harvard Non-Profit Leader Workshop.
