MacKenzie Lionberger

Mackenzie Lionberger is an experienced intern and journalist currently working at the Cancer Support Community, focusing on event promotion and marketing strategy. Previous roles include an internship with Verge Magazine, where Mackenzie created content, covered press events, and conducted interviews, and a position as a journalist for the Indiana Daily Student, regularly pitching stories on local and state news topics. Mackenzie has also worked as a sports camp counselor and soccer coach at the Maryland SoccerPlex, emphasizing lesson planning and child safety. Additionally, Mackenzie interned at the Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism, where responsibilities included data analysis for investigative stories. Mackenzie is pursuing a degree at Indiana University, building on a foundation established at Damascus High School.
