Emma McQuillan has extensive work experience in a variety of roles. Emma began their career at Crawley Borough Council as a Democratic Services Officer from August 1996 to July 1998. Following this, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for Sixth Sense Media from July 1998 to June 1999. In 1999, they joined Waverley Borough Council as a Democratic Services Officer until 2001 when they became the Democratic Services Manager and Deputy Monitoring Officer, a role they held until March 2018.
