Alex Lim

Alex Lim serves as a Vice President at The Carlyle Group and Carlyle AlpInvest, focusing on Private Equity Secondaries and Portfolio Finance since July 2021. Initially part of the Hong Kong office, Alex relocated to establish the Singapore office in 2023. Prior experience includes a Private Equity Associate role at Apollo Global Management Inc. and an Investment Analyst position at Gaw Capital. Alex's career began as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs and included a summer internship at Credit Suisse, along with an early experience at Fullerton Fund Management. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
