Nick Tassell

Nick Tassell is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the EMEA Head of Compliance at The Carlyle Group since October 2025, Nick previously held the position of Global Head of Advisory Compliance at Rothschild & Co from January 2022 to October 2025. His career includes key roles such as Head of Compliance at Montagu, Head of Risk and Compliance for Europe and Asia at PJT Partners, and Head of Regulatory Compliance for Europe at Blackstone. Nick began his career in the compliance and regulatory sectors at Morgan Stanley and the London Stock Exchange, following early professional training at PwC. Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Kingston University and a Legal Practice Course qualification from the College of Law, York.
