Padma Penmetsa

Padma Penmetsa currently serves as Vice President at The Carlyle Group, where responsibilities have evolved from Associate (April 2008 - December 2011) to Senior Associate (January 2012 - December 2015) and then to Vice President (January 2016 - Present) within the US Real Estate division. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Analyst at MMA Realty Capital from 2007 to 2008, focusing on comprehensive underwriting and due diligence for debt and equity investments, and earlier as a Structured Finance Analyst (2005-2006), handling financing structures for commercial real estate. Padma holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Cornell University (2003-2005), an MBA in Finance from S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Planning in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture (1995-1999).
