Shunya Wu

Shunya Wu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. Currently serving as Vice President at The Carlyle Group since July 2019, Shunya focuses on global corporate private equity investments. Prior to this role, Shunya held the position of Senior Associate, focusing on post-MBA responsibilities. Shunya's background includes significant experience at J.P. Morgan, where positions included Investment Banking Associate and Analyst from April 2013 to August 2017. Additionally, Shunya served as a Military Officer from October 2011 to November 2012. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Business Economics from UCLA. Early education was completed at St. Mary's International School in Tokyo, Japan, and The Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University.
