Al was one of the first employees hired at The Carroll Companies, and has been with the firm for well over 20 years. Highlights of accomplishments with the company include: $40M renovation of 17-story Center Pointe project in downtown Greensboro, development of thousands of single family lots for construction of homes, working with Alaris Homes team to help oversee many single family homes being built, working on $70M mixed-use Carroll at Bellemeade project featuring apartments and a Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Greensboro, constructing building additions for establishments such as Emmanuel College and the Falcon Children’s Home, working on retail shopping center projects, working with the industrial team on a 250,000 sf manufacturing facility in Rockingham County, and assembling land for multiple uses.
Al worked closely with founder Roy Carroll to develop the Bee Safe Storage brand from scratch, from the marketing material to site acquisition to construction procedure. He and his team have worked on the construction/management of over 22 facilities, with many more locations in the pipeline throughout the southeast. He is also in charge of developing a new brand, Car Caves, a luxury car storage brand.
Al holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker License, and a North Carolina General Contractor License. He has served on many boards in Guilford County, including the Planning Board and Downtown Greensboro, Inc. Al’s favorite part of job is the ability to make a difference and work with a great Company.
