Julia Shoer

Julia Shoer is an experienced educator with a focus on supporting students with language-based learning disabilities. Currently, Julia serves as a 3rd Grade Teacher at the Carroll School since August 2015, specializing in language arts and math. Previous experience includes roles as an Elementary Math Teacher and Intern at Newton Public Schools, as well as an Instructional Assistant in the Lower Developmental Learning Program at Lexington Public Schools. Additionally, Julia worked as a family nanny earlier in their career. Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education & Moderate Disabilities from Simmons University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Education from the University of Washington.
