Evan Arvizu

Evan Arvizu is a dedicated news writer for The Catalyst Newspaper, covering local and national stories since January 2022. Concurrently, Evan serves as an Intramural Volleyball Supervisor at Colorado College and has gained diverse experience as a Life Enrichment Coordinator and Hostess at The Carrington at Lincolnwood. Additional roles include serving as a Server at Village Inn Pizzeria Sports Bar & Grill and previously officiating as an Intramural Volleyball Referee at Colorado College. Previous coaching experience includes working as a Volleyball Coach and Camp Counselor at both Niles Park District and Glenview Park District. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Anthropology with a minor in Journalism at Colorado College, Evan has also enrolled in the School for International Training for the upcoming semester, building on a solid foundation established at Niles West High School with a high school diploma.
