Grant Parker

Grant Parker is a Software Engineer and Data Analyst at Bloomberg LP, with experience in Python programming, microservices, data pipelining, and text processing since July 2018. Prior to this, Grant worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2015 to March 2018, where tasks included editing industrial organization papers, analyzing large datasets with Stata, programming a text scraper, and analyzing academic networks. In addition, Grant served as the Chief Financial Officer for The Cavalier Daily, managing financial projections and increasing online revenue significantly. Grant has also interned in business development at Con Edison Development, finance at WorkWave, and various roles in analytics and accounting, while holding a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
