Estefania Fesser

Estefania Fesser, PhD, is a research scientist with extensive experience in molecular virology and diagnostics. Currently serving as Research Scientist II at The Cell Company since June 2024, Estefania previously worked as a Development Scientist at Fundación Instituto Leloir, focusing on R&D in molecular virology and new diagnostic methods. Estefania's experience includes a position as Visitor Scientist at CHU de Lille and Lab Research Scientist II at Amazon, where responsibilities included assay development and optimization for molecular detection assays. Prior roles involved significant contributions to assay development for human pathogens at Caspr Biotech, as well as postdoctoral research and mentorship at the University of Buenos Aires. Estefania holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Buenos Aires and a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Universidad Nacional del Noroeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.
