Tara Balin has extensive experience in mental health support and research, currently serving as an Intake Coordinator and Research Assistant at the Center for Motivation & Change since May 2021, where responsibilities include data entry, clinical notetaking, and patient outreach related to trauma assessment. In addition, Tara functions as a Behavior Coach at Prospera Mental Health and Wellness, leading individual therapy sessions with a focus on perinatal mental health and collaborating with stakeholders to tailor treatment plans. As the Marketing Coordinator and Research Apprentice for the Fontana Youth Initiative, Tara engages in fundraising, marketing, and public awareness efforts about child welfare. Previous roles include a Teaching Associate and Summer Camp Head Teacher at The Kew-Forest School, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at St. John's University. Tara holds a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. John's University.
