Yvette Cabrera

Yvette Cabrera is currently the President of the Board of Directors at NAHJ and a Senior Reporter at the Center for Public Integrity, focusing on covering inequality in social and economic well-being with a special emphasis on environmental justice issues. Yvette has previously worked as a Senior Staff Writer at Grist, an Environmental Justice Reporter at HuffPost, and an Investigative Reporter at ThinkProgress. Yvette has also contributed to Voice of OC, The Guardian U.S., Mission and State, CBS2 News Los Angeles, and The Orange County Register. Yvette holds a BA in History and Latin American studies from Occidental College.
