Eamon Kircher-Allen has a diverse work experience that spans various fields and roles. Eamon has worked as an Editor In Chief at The Century Foundation since July 2021, overseeing the editorial strategy of Century International. Prior to this, from October 2016 to October 2021, they served as a Project Editor at the same organization, where they edited numerous briefs and managed projects focused on Arab politics, security policy, and minority rights in the Middle East.
Before joining The Century Foundation, Eamon worked at The Economist Intelligence Unit (The EIU). Eamon started as an Editor in July 2015 and transitioned to a Researcher role in September 2018, though the end date for both roles is not specified.
In addition to their work in think tanks and research institutions, Eamon has also owned and served as the Head Instructor of the San Francisco Capoeira Academy since October 2017.
Prior to their current roles, Eamon had valuable experience working with Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph E. Stiglitz at Columbia Business School. Eamon served as an Editor and Publications Manager in the Office of Joseph E. Stiglitz from March 2010 to June 2015, conducting research and editing articles, academic papers, and books.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Editor for California Lawyer Magazine from January 2007 to August 2007, and as a Coordination Assistant at the United Nations in Syria from March 2005 to October 2006, where they managed communications and publication production.
Eamon's work experience also includes serving as an Assistant to the Director at the San Francisco Department of Elections from October 2003 to December 2004, where they managed website content, designed materials, and organized public information campaigns during elections.
Eamon Kircher-Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in International Affairs at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) from 2007 to 2009.
