Dr Kevin Kelly

Dr Kevin Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr Kevin is currently serving as the Chief Governance Officer & Society Secretary at The Channel Islands Co-operative Society since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director at International School of ESG (ISESG) starting from April 2023.

Dr Kevin Kelly has also worked as the Group Company Secretary at Legend from September 2021 to April 2023. Dr Kevin has been an Adjunct Professor at BPP CI & Jersey International Business School from March 2015 to September 2021. Moreover, they worked as the Head of Corporate Governance at Henley & Partners - The Firm of Global Citizens® between January 2020 and June 2021.

Before that, they were the Head of Company Secretariat at Brevan Howard from January 2016 to December 2019. Dr Kevin also has experience as the CEO of Brighter Futures Jersey from August 2012 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Company Secretary at Computershare Offshore Services from June 2011 to August 2012.

Additionally, Dr Kevin Kelly served as a Chartered Secretary at ENGIE North America Inc. from December 2009 to October 2010. Dr Kevin also worked as a Company Secretarial Officer / CSR Advisor at Bupa from June 2008 to December 2009. Overall, Dr Kevin Kelly has a strong background in governance, corporate secretarial, and educational roles.

Dr Kevin Kelly obtained a Diploma in Professional Administration from South East Technological University in 1995-1998. Dr Kevin then pursued a Masters in Corporate Governance from Anglia Ruskin University in 2007-2009, followed by a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility from the same university in 2010-2013. Additionally, they hold an ACG qualification in Corporate Governance from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
