August Sherman

August (Augie) Sherman is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in humanities and technology instruction at The Chapin School since August 2021, where roles include Middle School Humanities Teacher and technology-related positions. Prior to this, Augie held various positions, including Advancement Associate at Grace Church School, where responsibilities encompassed donor relations, event planning, and content creation. Augie's experience also includes roles in arts organizations such as Development and Press Associate at David Dorfman Dance and Press Coordinator for American Friends of the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba. Augie's educational background includes a BA from Connecticut College, where Augie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Dance and minors in English and Sociology, and Augie is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching of English at Teachers College, Columbia University.
