Jodi Capistrant is a Director at Chartis and a member of the firm’s Performance practice with nearly 20 years of healthcare experience in advisory services and health system leadership. Her work is concentrated in the creation of strategies and advanced care delivery models to achieve organizational goals, superior outcomes, experience, and efficiency. She has a wide range of experience and expertise in the healthcare field having led engagements in organizational alignment, and operational and clinical innovation including patient access and throughput management, strategic partnership design, strategic growth planning, operational integration and value creation, and capital asset planning, preparation, and activation.

Jodi’s recent work has focused on partnership facilitation, operational integration, and strategic ambulatory planning. Prior to that, she supported clients’ efforts to improve patient access in ambulatory care settings by optimizing capacity and creating patient-centered care models. She brings extensive experience partnering with physician and administrative leadership and has a proven ability to help organizations evolve their respective understanding of the impact of practice patterns, health system operations, aligned objectives, and the requirements for success.

Prior to joining Chartis, Jodi worked as a Senior Manager and Director for the healthcare practice of Kurt Salmon (now part of ECG) where she led strategy, operations, and performance improvement projects. Previously, Jodi held a number of leadership positions at a major community health system where she oversaw a broad portfolio of hospital-based services and a medical group practice, as the organization implemented a new EMR, pursued Magnet status, and transitioned from a corporate holding system strategy to a system-alignment strategy.

Jodi holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is Lean Certified through the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering.
