From 1998 to 2005, Sandy held the role of Human Resources/Benefits Manager at WellPoint, Inc. Sandy'sresponsibilities included managing a staff of 18, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing support on various HR matters.
Sandy's earlier experience includes working at Great Western Bank/Washington Mutual Bank as the Human Resources/Benefits Planning Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating annual open enrollment and implementing cost-saving strategies. Sandy also worked at FHP International/Pacificare as the Employee Benefits Manager, where they managed the administration of health and welfare plans and coordinated vendor relationships.
Sandy started their career at Great Western Bank as the Benefits Planning Manager, where they served from 1987 to 1995.

Sandy Sakaida holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
