Pedro de la Torre

Pedro de la Torre is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Director of Compliance and Senior Corporate Counsel at The Chemours Company since January 2015. In this role, Pedro has returned to Ethics & Compliance while managing a compliance function team and providing strategic oversight. Previously, as Lead Business Counsel for Chemours Titanium Technologies, Pedro offered legal counsel to senior leadership and contributed to global strategy development. With a background in procurement law, corporate ethics, and compliance, Pedro has held various positions at Chemours and DuPont, including Corporate Ethics & Compliance Officer. Prior experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of Justice and the United States Attorney's Office, focusing on federal criminal law violations. Pedro holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Rutgers Law School, an MBA from Rider University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, also from Rider University.
