S Balakrishnan

S Balakrishnan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and consulting sectors. Currently serving as an investor at The Chennai Angels since April 2021, S Balakrishnan also holds the position of CEO at ANB Systems Inc, a role that has been undertaken since November 1997, focusing on consulting and software development for the retail electric and energy efficiency industry. Previous roles include Vice President at ICF Consulting from April 1999 to August 2001, Manager at Reliant Energy from April 1996 to March 1999, and Vice President positions at Intesco and Synergic Resources Corporation from 1990 to 1996 and 1986 to 1996, respectively. S Balakrishnan earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1984 and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, University of Bombay from 1977 to 1981.
