Miki Mukawa

Miki Mukawa is an experienced media professional with a focus on arts and communications. Currently serving as the Deputy Arts Editor at The Chicago Maroon, Miki contributes to the Arts section by enhancing pitch lists and providing final edits. Previous roles include Reporter, Associate Arts Editor, and Media Relations Intern at the University of Chicago, where Miki developed content for newsletters, press releases, and major media placements. Additional experience encompasses positions at the University of Chicago Press, UChi In The Loop podcast, PEEL Lab, and the Institute of Politics, showcasing skills in scriptwriting, marketing, event management, and research. Miki is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature at the University of Chicago, building on a foundation established at Yokohama International School with an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma.
