Helaine Fox

Helaine Fox joined The Child Center of NY in January 2022 as SVP of HR Strategy. With more than 20 years of human resource leadership roles in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Helaine has led strategic initiatives for Article 28 clinics with behavioral health components, supported housing organizations, workforce development for individuals with disabilities, ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) teams, and PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) programs as well as for national home care organizations and medical staffing agencies. Helaine received her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and her MSILR from Baruch College, where she was the valedictorian of her cohort. She is also a recipient of the Jan Stackhouse Award from SEIU 1199 for making a difference in the working lives of women and minorities.

Helaine raised her family in Forest Hills and is most proud of the people they became. Josh is a labor and employment attorney for a large firm, and Steph is an assistant principal for a K-8 charter school network in Harlem.
