Director Human Resources Information System at The Children's Hospital Of Alabama

Gina Seekers has a diverse work experience in human resources information systems. Gina started their career at Citibank as a Project Team Assistant, where they provided general assistance to the EBT transaction services development team. Gina then joined the University of South Florida, where they served as a Budget Report Developer and later as the Core Team Technical Lead for the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS.

Moving on, Gina worked as a Senior HRIS Consultant for Decision Technologies, consulting at Masco Corporation and Baxter. At Masco, they implemented PS HRMS 7.5 for 35,000 employees and devised a cost/benefit analysis for the implementation at subsidiary divisions. At Baxter, they upgraded to PS HRMS 8 for North America and globally rolled out the system to 55 countries.

Gina later returned to the University of South Florida as the Assistant Director HRIS, where they managed a team and implemented various HR-related program/technology change initiatives.

Most recently, Gina worked at Children's of Alabama, where they held roles such as Director Human Resources Information System and Human Resource Information System Manager. Gina led the implementation and configuration of Infor GHR module and managed the HR transaction workflow, reporting, and integration.

Overall, Gina has extensive experience in HRIS, including system implementation, configuration, conversion, reporting, and data analysis.

Gina Seekers holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology, which they obtained from the University of South Florida between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from New College of Florida, completing it between 1987 and 1992. In addition to their educational background, Gina has obtained certifications such as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from SHRM - HR Certification Institute in 2006 and the PeopleSoft Technical Consultant Certification from PeopleSoft in 2002.
