Orien Barnes

Orien Barnes, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Vice President of Organizational Development & Effectiveness at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since July 2022. Previously, Orien held the position of Vice President of HR Learning, Talent Management, & Organizational Development at The AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies from November 2016 to June 2022. Orien's extensive experience includes roles such as Director of HR New Business Activation and Corporate Talent Management Consultant at The AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies, Director of Training & Development at Keystone Mercy Health Plan, and instructional roles at Fleet Credit Card/Bank of America and Fleet Bank. Orien has also contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State University's Abington campus. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Adult Training & Organizational Development from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science from Morehouse College and Spelman College.
