Yentli Soto Albrecht is an MD-PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, focusing on translating host-pathogen research into patient care. Yentli is involved in an international dengue investigation at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, examining immunopathogenesis of dengue infection in a pediatric population in the Dominican Republic. As the former president of the American Physician Scientists Association, Yentli supported physician-scientist trainees and advocated for diversifying the workforce. Previous research experience includes work as a laboratory technician at the Ragon Institute, and research roles at Princeton University and the University of Oxford, contributing to various significant projects in molecular biology and immunology. Yentli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and is pursuing an MD-PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
