Deborah Alderson

Public Relations Volunteer at The Children's Society

Deborah Alderson has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as T/Assistant Chief Constable for Force Coordination, Operations, and Communication at Northumbria Police since August 1995. Previous roles include Chief Superintendent, Detective Chief Superintendent overseeing the Safeguarding Department, and Programme Director for various domestic abuse transformation projects. Additionally, Deborah has contributed as a volunteer mentor for The Girls' Network and as a public relations volunteer for The Children’s Society. Deborah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Process Engineering from Newcastle University, a PGCE from Northumbria University, and diplomas in Performance Coaching and Business Excellence from Newcastle College.
