Dion Broughton

Dion Broughton has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dion is currently working as a Chaplain at Rush University Medical Center, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Chaplain Resident at the same organization from September 2022 to September 2023. Dion also has experience as a Senior Pastor at St. Luke CME Church since August 2022. Dion previously served as the Director of Communications at The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church starting in August 2021. Dion also owned their own company, Clergyman Productions, since January 2013. Dion worked as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at Arkansas Foodbank from November 2021 to August 2022. Dion served as a Senior Pastor at Bullock Temple CME Church from August 2018 to August 2022. Dion gained further experience as a Chaplain Resident at BAPTIST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER - LITTLE ROCK from November 2020 to August 2021, and as a Staff Chaplain at ARKANSAS STATE HOSPITAL from November 2018 to October 2019. Dion also worked as a Video Production Manager at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary from September 2015 to March 2017, and as an Event Manager at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from July 2010 to June 2013.

Dion Broughton has a Master of Divinity degree in Theology and Ethics from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, which was obtained from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, Dion received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2013. Dion also holds additional certifications in First Aid & CPR/AED from the American Heart Association (obtained in January 2013) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 Hour Certification (obtained in 2007). Dion has completed Clinical Pastoral Education programs at BAPTIST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER - LITTLE ROCK and Rush University Medical Center.
