Gareth Mostyn

Gareth Mostyn is an experienced executive with a diverse background in finance and corporate affairs. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at SNG since September 2023 and Chief Executive of the Church Commission for the Church of England since February 2018, Gareth has also held significant leadership positions including Executive Head of Strategy & Corporate Affairs at De Beers Group from January 2012 to January 2018, where responsibilities included strategy, business development, and government relations. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Anglo American, Head of Corporate Finance, Finance Director for the UK & Ireland at The Linde Group, and various positions at The BOC Group plc. Gareth began the professional career as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand after obtaining a BA in Business Economics from the University of Durham, St John's College.
