Deon Botes

Deon Botes is currently serving as the Area Architect in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Division at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since June 2024. Prior to this role, Deon worked as a Service Manager for Space Planning and Soft Services at MACC Branch from November 2020 to November 2024. Deon also held multiple positions at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 2009 and 2020, including Area Architectural and Engineering Manager/Project Manager, where responsibilities included strategic consulting and optimizing construction costs. Earlier professional experience includes roles as a Snr. Architectural Technologist at Frame International Architects, Drawing Office Manager/Project Manager at KAD Architects, and Architectural Technologist at VR² Architects. Deon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Cum Laude from Brigham Young University - Idaho and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MANCOSA, among other qualifications in architecture and project management.
