Jeremy Godwin

Jeremy Godwin currently serves as the Head of Employee Communications at The Cigna Group since March 2023. Previously, Jeremy held several positions at Verizon from January 2007 to March 2023, including Director of Corporate Communications, where innovative multimedia content was developed for over 140,000 global employees and stakeholders, resulting in improved engagement and business outcomes. As Public Relations and Employee Communications Manager, Jeremy transformed Verizon's employee communications through the “Up To Speed” daily news video series, adapting it into a live broadcast during the pandemic. Earlier roles include Consultant for Employee Engagement, focusing on video and graphic media production, and Customer Service Supervisor in a call center environment. Jeremy began a career in journalism as a Reporter, Photographer, and Fill-In Anchor at WWAY from June 2001 to January 2007, building a strong network for effective news reporting. Jeremy holds a degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
