David Abel

David Abel possesses a diverse background in sports communications and public safety. Currently working as a Fire Fighter for The City of Easton since March 2018, David also serves as an MLB Correspondent for Rant Sports, providing exclusive content since August 2013. With experience in security roles at St. Luke's Health Network and as a substitute teacher at Phillipsburg School District, David's past includes a significant tenure as a Contributing Writer III at Bleacher Report, where award-winning articles were developed. A marketing internship at TEST Sports Clubs showcased David's ability to drive client growth through targeted campaigns, while a media relations internship with The Wheeling Nailers involved crafting community-focused content. Earlier experiences included an assistant producer role at ESPN, contributing to increased listener engagement for sports broadcasts.
