Wyatt Papenfuss

Wyatt Papenfuss is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Finance Manager for The City of Fargo since September 2021. In this role, Wyatt manages the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), oversees governmental audits, and provides guidance on federal grant accounting compliance. Prior experience includes roles as an Accountant with Cass County Government, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and overseeing budgeting and payroll, and as an Associate with CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), focusing on audits for government clients. Wyatt began a career in finance at Bremer Bank, progressing from a Client Service Associate to a Client Service Associate II. Wyatt holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota.
