Louis M. Andres serves as the Director of Public Works for the City of Mansfield, Ohio, overseeing various departments including water treatment and engineering since January 2024. Prior to this role, Louis worked with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District as a Park Services Specialist from April 2013 to December 2023, where responsibilities included public relations, marketing, and community engagement. Louis also held a significant position as District Park Manager for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources from April 1986 to July 2012, managing operations across multiple state parks and fostering relationships with volunteer and community organizations. Additionally, Louis founded and served as Executive Director of the Malabar Farm Foundation from April 1993 to July 1995. Early career experience as a Park Ranger/Naturalist at East Fork State Park involved law enforcement and visitor safety. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Secondary Education from Miami University, a degree in Agribusiness from The Ohio State University, and a Law Enforcement Commission from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.
