Coreen Mara

Coreen Mara (Alexander) has extensive experience in planning and environmental consulting, currently serving as Planner 1 with the City of North Vancouver since September 2018, after previously holding positions as Planning Technician 2 and Planning Assistant. Prior to this role, Coreen worked as a Sales Support Analyst at CORE Energy Recovery Solutions and as an Environmental Scientist at Nor-Alta Environmental Services Ltd., where responsibilities included providing environmental consulting services, preparing technical reports, and maintaining client relationships. Coreen's earlier experience as an Accounting Clerk at the City of North Vancouver highlights strong skills in customer service and data management. Coreen holds a Post-Degree Diploma in Applied Urban Planning from Langara College and a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a specialization in Environmental Sustainability and a minor in Business from the University of Victoria.
