Prior to that, they held positions at the City of Edmonton, including Deputy City Manager and Branch Manager. From 2012 to 2016, Leanne worked at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, where they served as the Director of Information & Advisory Services and also took on an interim role as the Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations. Earlier in their career, Leanne worked at NAIT in roles such as Executive Director of Continuing Education and Director of Recruitment and Student Life. Leanne also served as a Director at the Humber Education Alliance.
