Linda Buchanan

Linda Buchanan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health and civic leadership. Currently serving as Chair of Invest Vancouver since November 2022, Linda has been the Mayor of the City of North Vancouver since 2011, also holding the position of Councillor. With a long-standing commitment to healthcare, Linda has worked as a Public Health Nurse with Vancouver Coastal Health since 1992, focusing on community and family health, and is certified in Immunization and Reproductive Technology. Previously, Linda was Vice Chair of Metro Vancouver from November 2018 to November 2022 and served as Trustee on the North Vancouver School District #44 Board of Education from 2008 to 2011. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from The University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Registered Nursing from Vancouver General Hospital School of Nursing.
