Orri Freyr Runarsson

Orri Freyr Runarsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing, communications, event management, and radio production. Orri Freyr is currently the Director of Marketing Communications at The City of Reykjavik, where they are part of the Bloomberg Innovation initiative. Prior to this, Orri worked as a Marketing Specialist at RUV Iceland, where they also served as a Radio Presenter for the program "Sportrasin" on Ras 2. Orri Freyr has also worked as an Account Manager/Creative at Tjarnargatan, a Radio Producer and DJ at 365, and as a DJ and Event Planner at Bar 11. During their earlier years, Orri held the position of a Salesman at BYKO and worked in event management for RR Ehf, specifically marketing concerts with foreign artists in Iceland.

Orri Freyr Runarsson holds a Master's degree in International Marketing from Emerson College, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Háskóli Íslands between 2008 and 2011. Orri Freyr began their higher education journey at The Commercial College of Iceland from 2003 to 2007, where they studied International Studies.
