Kelvin Yarrell possesses extensive experience in parks and recreation management, currently serving as the Superintendent of Parks and Cemeteries for The City of Rocky Mount since October 2018. Prior to this role, Kelvin held positions as Director and Superintendent of Recreation at Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department from March 2008 to October 2018, and served as Recreation Manager at Greenville Recreation and Parks Department from July 1998 to March 2008. Kelvin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies in 1997 and a Master of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Management in 2004, both from East Carolina University.
