Brian D. Roman

Mr. Roman is a Senior Manager at The Claro Group, LLC. Mr. Roman has over 18 years’ experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He has a great deal of experience prosecuting and defending various adversary proceedings and contested matters including preference actions, fraudulent transfer actions, claim objections, and representing debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees and post-confirmation trustees in complex Chapter 11 cases across numerous industries.

Prior to joining The Claro Group, LLC, Mr. Roman was a bankruptcy and litigation attorney at a boutique bankruptcy law firm located in Houston, Texas. Mr. Roman began his legal career at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in the commercial litigation section.

Mr. Roman served ten years in the United States Air Force as an F-111 and F-15E Instructor Weapons Systems Officer.

Mr. Roman has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University and a J.D. with Honors from the University of Houston Law Center.
