Gardar Johannesson is an experienced data science professional currently serving as a Data Science Manager in Yield Modeling at The Climate Corporation since March 2015, where leadership includes managing a team to develop deep learning and statistical models for crop yield prediction through the integration of various data sources. Prior to this role, Gardar held several positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from April 2003 to March 2015, including Staff Scientist and Principal Data Scientist, significantly contributing to research in engineering, physics, and geosciences with innovative methods for seismic event location.
