Joy Shafer

Joy Shafer is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Bayer since August 2015, with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and testing sectors. Prior to Bayer, Joy served as Consulting Test Lead at Quardev, Inc. from February 2011 to August 2015, where a strong commitment to ethical practices was emphasized. Previous positions include Sr. Test Lead at both Microsoft and Quardev Laboratories, as well as Training Manager/Sr. Test Lead at ST Labs, Inc./Data Dimensions, Inc. Joy's career began as QA Manager at Arabesque Software, leading a team of testers at a start-up. Joy holds an MBA in International Business from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in International Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
