Matt Dimmic

Matt Dimmic has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt currently serves as the Director of Science Modeling at The Climate Corporation, where they lead multiple data science teams in developing digital tools to enhance agricultural productivity. Matt collaborates with product, data analytics, and engineering teams to design and deliver digital products for the agricultural industry.

Prior to their current role, Matt held various positions at Monsanto Company, including Science Fellow and Lead of Genomics & Data Science. Matt also served as the Computational Biology Platform Lead and Computational Discovery Lead during their tenure at the company.

Before joining Monsanto, Matt worked at Bayer Crop Science as the Lead of Genomics & Data Science. In this role, they built and led six teams of computational biologists and data scientists, applying computational methods to discover new agricultural products.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Divergence, Inc. as the Director of Computational Discovery Research and as a Senior Scientist. Matt also held a Scientist position at the company.

Matt's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Cornell University and a tenure as a Grad Student at the University of Michigan.
